All my words are belong to school right now,* so I thought I would let you know that this is a thing that exists:
It’s not clear how I ended up there or I why I keep going back.
Like other posthumous databases this one appears powered by Mormon genealogical pursuits. I’m not sure if that might also go some ways to explaining the curious “most popular” page.
I was also fascinated by the the supercontributors, people who have contributed a hundred thousand to four-hundred thousand memorials. And the GPS coordinates, the virtual flower-GIFs and, of course, the merchandise, really made my grave finding experience complete.
*November 21: Just received an email from my dad asking me to fix the typo in the first sentence. Sorry, next time I’ll start my post with a Joni Mitchell reference.
